i know this is sad but ...

me: makes teriyaki sub and heads to register
customer: have you been working here for long?
me: yeah, why?
customer: cos you just made a really good sub
me: really? lol
customer: yes, it was very well portioned
me: thanks! -grins-

... i make nice, well portioned subs! and, may i say so myself, i baked some mighty fine bread tonight. they were so nice, they deserved a high five (thanks to david for reciprocating with my enthusiasm for bread-bake-age). nothing beats knowing you've cooked a nice batch of breads ... all puffy inside and crisp on the outside. okay. now excuse me while i go find a life.
