michael cera + charlyne yi combo = awkward geek perfection

makes for a great quirky movie. i'm about 30 minutes into this movie and i'm enjoying it immensely. it's one of those movies that makes you subconsciously smile. i have a new found love for charlyne yi - a.k.a. high asian girl in knocked up.
"you must be angry at the baby whenever it steals your food, huh? ohh that's mine, not yours. but, you know, because you're family you gotta share." - jodi in knocked up
too funny. she has the cutest giggle / laugh. i'm a lover of good quirky movies. screw you imdb, your rating system will not be the judge of my movie preferences.

the cure

begging like you might take order in your own hands.
i stare, it seems like i don't care,
drop a chance in your hands then.
i know that bad's got to fix itself, correct over time.
and i know 'cause i've got the cure, i've got a cure for your crimes.

all i dreamed up, all that seemed like luck seems silly to you now.
all i said to you, all i did for you seems so silly to me now.

screaming like no one might call the cops and arrest you this time.
standing back against my building's back door, you're hoping for a ride.
i know the world's been mean to you, i've got a cure, hold tight.
i know the world's not fair to you, i've got a cure for it's crimes.

all i dreamed up, all that seemed like luck seems silly to you now.
all i said to you, all i did for you seems so silly to me now.

nifty.
"Compatible with many classic bike frames with horizontal top tubes, the ORIGINAL RETROVELO frame bag is the first that provides two compartments for either A4 notebooks or laptops. It is thrown quickly over the top tube and fastened with two belt hooks and a TENAX button on the seat tube.

The bag is completely made of 2 mm thick full-leather, available in brown or black and its outside measures are 36x12X30 cm (lxbxh). Thus your valuables are cleverly transported – unique and chic and without additional racks or a sweaty backpack." - retrovelo

emma: so you can't eat fat?
niamh: yeah, i can't eat meat with fat unless it's been so deep fried that there's no fat left on it.

oh, the irony. i heart niamh.

kids

didn't your mother ever tell you: -
"if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"
... unless it is well deserved, some things are better left unsaid. i think civil people live by this or at least consider it before opening their traps. unless you're either 1) evil; 2) socially inept; or 3) you couldn't care less about anyone but yourself, which i guess correlates with point 1.

i honestly don't see what kind of pleasure or satisfaction people get out of putting others down. in my opinion, such people are a waste of time and space. please kindly leave your callous comments to yourself or escort yourself out of the building. ta ta.

my hands are small, i know

popped by typo on my lunch break and found these. honestly, i don't need a mobile stand or bookends but i couldn't help myself. these bookends are kind of epic, right? i think i have too many white objects in my room now. time for a mass cull?
